ADDING A NEW DIMENSION TO OSSEOINTEGRATION

Compared to traditional coatings, where the bone anchors itself to the coating, HAnano Surface does not act as an interface that separates the bone from the implant. The nano-thin surface allows newly formed bone to grow directly into the micrometric topography, or roughness, of the implant surface, thus providing mechanical stability.

Products and Technology

More bone. Faster.

HAnano Surface® combines several features known to enhance osseointegration into a single surface modification. The combination of high wettability and surface chemistry, with optimized nano-roughness, enhances bioactivity and the adsorption of specific proteins to the implant.

Essas propriedades regulam o comportamento celular e influenciam a regeneração dos tecidos, aumentando as funções dos osteoblastos, construindo assim mais osso rapidamente.

TECHNOLOGY AND PROCESS

The modification of an implant with HAnano Surface is performed through a wet chemical process. Only ready-to-use equipment is required and can be easily integrated into existing implant manufacturing lines. For OEMs without in-house manufacturing capabilities, Promimic has established a strategic partnership with Danco, a leading provider of surface treatments for the medical device industry. Danco has a fully validated and operational HAnano Surface production line at its facility in Warsaw, Indiana (USA), which is now offered to Promimic’s customers.

SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN

HAnano Surface® has been evaluated in over 50 pre-clinical studies, testing a variety of materials and implant designs in different models.

The results show that HAnano Surface: Promotes bone quality during healing, improves initial implant stability, accelerates osseointegration, and promotes bone growth and ingrowth for any type of implant.
